NSFAS Funding South Africa 2017 – 2018
The NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme) is funded by the Department of Higher Education and Training. The NSFAS is a bursary and loan scheme for students who lack the financial resources to further their tertiary studies and who do not qualify for study loans and other bursary programmes.
WHO CAN APPLY FOR NSFAS FUNDING?
The NSFAS will only provide financial assistance for South African undergraduate students, who are studying at a recognised University or TVET College.
*Please do not apply if you have already applied during the 1 August – 30 November 2016 application period.
HOW TO APPLY
You will first need to register your account on the NSFAS website (http://my.nsfas.org.za/) – this will take around 30 minutes.
Once you have successfully registered your personal online account, you can download and complete the NSFAS Application Form (pdf)

WHERE MUST I SUBMIT MY APPLICATION?
Complete application forms and supporting documentation must be submitted ine one of the following ways:
